David Freas (quillracer) | 557 comments Too many to list.

Most Beach Boys songs.
Many Rolling Stones songs.

Songs by Bob Seeger, CCR, Neil Diamond, Pat Benetar, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and The Who.

But if you insist I pick one, it's a tie between:
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones
Hollywood Nights - Bob Seeger

Oldies to me is 40's ,50's and maybe 60's.

Of course depends on your age....

message 18: by Christine (new)

Christine Hatfield (christinesbookshelves) | 5526 comments I agree with you Sean

message 19: by David (new)

David Freas (quillracer) | 557 comments 40s = Big band era
50 - 55 = transitional
55 to around 72 = oldies
72 on = crap. Somewhere around then, disco became popular, rock & roll went to hell, and never recovered (with a few noticeable exceptions - AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger, and a few others.
