Most Beach Boys songs.
Many Rolling Stones songs.
Songs by Bob Seeger, CCR, Neil Diamond, Pat Benetar, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and The Who.
But if you insist I pick one, it's a tie between:
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones
Hollywood Nights - Bob Seeger
Old timers,
old song...
The great Buddy Holly, he music is still good today...
The great Perry Como, Andy Williams, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley...
Some many great hits of the 60's and 70's.

The great Glenn Miller... 40's...

50 - 55 = transitional
55 to around 72 = oldies
72 on = crap. Somewhere around then, disco became popular, rock & roll went to hell, and never recovered (with a few noticeable exceptions - AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger, and a few others.

yes, The Andy Williams show was a very popular tv viewing, especially the Christmas Specials , the thought brings back happy memories !
