He had had recently contracted lymphoma and lost his fight with it early this morning. He was 50 years old :(

Oh my.. I'm shocked, poor guy. Way too young to go, terrible.

Oh, I'm saddened by the news. I read and enjoyed Survivor and Clickers and hope to read many more of his books.

Maybe December's group read could be for one of his books.

I'll make the suggestion.

I'm heartbroken to confirm that my friend & frequent collaborator @jfgonzalez passed away this morning. PLEASE respect his family's privacy.

I met him a few times at conventions and he was a geniunely nice guy in addition to being a very talented author. He'll be greatly missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I think a group read of one of his works is an outstanding idea!

Yeah, I feel really awful for him. He was one of his best friends.
