So it's about the Forgotten races one of the Elven worlds most dangerous forbidden secrets because the forgotten races refused to sign the treaty because they interfered with their way of life the Elves banished them but the black swan recruited a dark elf to act as a bodyguard for Sophie in the forbidden cities for school because Mr forkle had to watch their house and report back to the black swan so after meeting her "bodyguard the council finds out and gets really mad but sophies bodyguard convinces them to let her live there and they have many adventures her soon they find out that keefe left sophie and her bodygaurd go to find him (despite the letter) while Fitz, Dex,biana tam and linh feel conflicted because keefe left and he had the best iggy color out of all of them soon sophie and er bodygaurd find keefe her bodyguard's people have a very similar ability to keefe's and she trains him and they find out a lot about why her body guard left her race and they have a whole thing of super awesome adventures (btw a lot of the ideas I get are super epic but a lot of the others I get from memes so)

also i have a problem with killing my oc/main character then bringing them back and then repeating that a few times idk why

I got one of my friends to read keeper of the lost cities
they were just finishing Exile when I texted them asking who their fav counselor was they said Kenric i said oh sweet he's cool started talking after they finished Everblaze and they said word for word YOU KNEW Y O U K N E W I said kenric was my fav AND THEN THAT HAPPENED!! Y O U K N E W

i couldnt decide whether to laugh or cry so I did bboth

i wasn't too upset over kenrics death
we barely knew anything about him besides the fact that he was funny and supported sophie (HIMBO)
and did anyone else feel like... forkles death was pretty much useless except for a little plot because there was literally a back up forkle
though i guess it explained how he was everywhere

Yeah, I wish we got to know Kenric better, but I feel like after reading the whole series and seeing how it hit Oralie so hard, I’ll def be more emotional when we reread it. And the Forkle thing THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY FOR NOTHING, SHANNON! It literally did nothing for the plot except create drama and suspense and made me never look at Forkle the same way again
