Beth Hart | 9 comments I have my tbr pile! I’m in the mood for procedural mysteries. I downloaded Deborah Crombie‘a books to my Nook. I stayed up way too late with the first one - A Share in Death. I have a few pages left to start off the day with. Who did it? And why?

Beth Hart | 9 comments Answers to the questions:
1. I’m reading in a cozy townhome in Bella Vista, AR. It’s rainy and fall is here! Great reading weather!

2. I’m looking forward to plowing through British mysteries. I love a good series! I’ve read some of Deborah Crombie’s books out of order, so I’m looking forward to getting the backstory straight.

3. I have no snacks. I have very little food. It is grocery day and I’d rather read.😮 I do have good coffee!

4. I’m a high school math teacher online. I love my job- especially the commute!❤️ I recently moved to AR from GA. A long time ago I was born a Michigander and the Great Lakes will always feel like home.

5. This is the first time for me. I’ve read about it and my daughter has urged me to try it. I read a lot anyway, so I might as well make it a celebration. 🎈 🎈

Beth Hart | 9 comments Yes, books before food, always! I finished “A Share in Death.” Very satisfying “who-done-it”. Superintendent Lindsay must be ridiculously attractive. Women surround him and kiss him casually a bit too much. Gemma is the more likable cop, to me, with her single mother struggles and her unruly red hair! I should probably take a break and brush my teeth. Then on to the next mystery: “All Shall be Well.”

The first time I read with Deweys it was rather impromptu too. That was particular kind of fun. Tea was what I mostly had too, and I keep coming back. Enjoy!

Great job finishing your first book! All mysteries for the day?

Beth Hart | 9 comments Almost done with my second mystery! I love the decadence of just reading!

I wish these feeds had a 'like' button. Decadent is such a good word for it!

Beth Hart | 9 comments I finished book 2- All Shall be Well. Very peaceable for a murder mystery! Crombie writes with such empathy for her characters! The elderly fare well in her hands!
On to book 3 in the series: Leave the Grave Green.

Beth Hart | 9 comments Thanks! It was great! I finished the 3rd book in Crombie‘a series. It was too full of romance and melodrama for me. I have lots more to read, but I need to get some sleep. Good night all!
