I don't remember what the book is about. L'm not checking until l'm ready to read it.

I finished Mistress of the Art of Death. It was so good and I am glad we are reading the series. The characters are very interesting and I really like them. I finished before Cherie and Dom because I’m still procrastinating on From Russia with Blood: The Kremlin's Ruthless Assassination Program and Vladimir Putin's Secret War on the West and The girl in the woods.

I need to get back to them. (She types while sighing.)

You sound like me, except the opposite. I have been procrastinating finishing Mistress of the Art of Death because I have others that I need to finish. It really does become a balancing act. I am really enjoying MotAoD though.

I gave up on both books. It was putting me in a reading slump.

Poor Harry has been waiting for me to read #4 for a long, long time.

Right now he’s a mess in this book. Then again if you have read 3 books about Harry, you know he tends to always be a mess.

Yes, I know about him being a mess. I liked him a lot, but his books are long, and nothing seems to fit on a challenge task.

I think Jo Nesbo might be ending Harry. The last book really didn’t leave much left...I think.

Dom is making me read a fantasy book. This was not on our planned list. We started The Eye of the World.

I had to add this under the “Unfortunate adds that should never have crossed our path” plot.

The Wheel of Time series is my youngest daughter's favorite series of all time! Her favorite part of the books was that they were sooooo looooong. It took her more than a minute to finish them. That is what she told me, when I asked her about the series. :o)

It is quite chunky. Dom bought it for me for Christmas.

I finished The Inventor's Secret. Dominique gave up on it. I may not finish the series unless Cherie is dying to read it. Cherie was sticking it out and reading this book with me.

We are starting Inferno. Next month we finish the series!!!

I really loved this one. I think I read it and re-read it three times before I felt finished with it.

I've got the next one, Origin on my challenge. We could do a buddy read next month, if you like.

We finished Inferno. I have to say personally, I didn’t find this book the best in the series. I found it quite boring and I didn’t care for the characters except Robert who really wasn’t himself.

Now we are starting our buddy read The Serpent's Tale and Gone Girl.

Cherie, when did you want to read The Girl Who Lived Twice with us? We can hit this up in April or May if you want.

I cannot commit to may, so we better say April, Jannene. I guess May 1st would work though, but I will be on vacation with my sisters May 15th through May 30th. I doubt there will be much book reading done.

@ Gone Girl. My daughter and I were talking about it today. Too funny.

Gone Girl (The title was true to my heart...I was “gone girl”.) I quit this book and left Dom reading solo. The characters were not engaging or likable. Apparently, that is why Dom likes it, silly woman!

I curled back up into a read that Dom has already finished The Eye of the World.

My daughters all loved the Wheel of Time series. Everyone has read it but me. My youngest has all of the hardcover books in her bookshelf. They are her pride and joy. It took her a long time to find them all in the same size. I will read it one day.

I gave Gone Girl 5 stars, so I guess I'm in Dom's camp. :)

Dom, Cherie and I finished The Serpent's Tale. We also had a few others that helped us as a buddy read. This is a good series. The three of us seemed to have liked it.

I’m still working on Dom and my read The Eye of the World. It is getting pretty good but I’m not used to big chunky books. I’m still working on it.

I just started Dom’s and my buddy read The Harvest Man since my library loaned it to me a few weeks ago. I have just 5 days left on my loan so I have to finish it this weekend. I hope Dom catches up.

I finished The Harvest Man and that was a really good read. I have Lost and Gone Forever for 2 weeks. I hope to start that soon and finish the series with Dom.

We started Origin today and have quite a few people joining us. This will be a series that we finally kill off!

It's an orphan for me. I killed the series before this was published.

L'm more than 50% into the book. Since my work from home is winding down, more time to read.

We finished our Robert Langdon series. We started this series in December. This was a big April buddy read.

I wonder if Brown is going to write any more Robert Langdon stories? I haven’t bothered to look.

I looked Cherie and it doesn’t look like it at least not yet. Langdon is 62 years old, not sure he can handle more of this running for his life much more or being a ladies man.

I was watching Ancient Aliens on Netflix last night, and these scientists might have an argument with Edmond about where we come from. It was rather interesting watching it after listening to Origin.

We just started our last book in the Scotland Yard series; Lost and Gone Forever.

I thought you added the J.J. Graves series? You know the one you said you did from my kill list. Dirty Little Secrets.

I read Grave Secrets last month, I remember enough to join in. I liked it more then then the second book.
