I'm having trouble trying to find a book I read once. I'm unsure how old it was, because it was from my mom, but it must be at least 6 years old by now. It was about a group of siren men (or mermen) who kidnap a group of women (because their own females were kidnapped while traveling or something) off a beach and take them to their underwater kingdom. The women are super enamored except the female main character, and one other who didn't talk much because an abusive ex messed up her vocal cords. The main male character was a prince or king 🤔 The king/prince had a sort of rivalry with another male, who happens to be the one who ends up with the woman with the messed up vocal chords. The male sirens drew power from sex, and they needed that because they were fighting some other faction (pretty sure the same ones who kidnapped their siren females). Their deity makes them give up the women (or just straight up sends them back without saying something) towards the end but they try really hard to swim back.
