V-Wars is good, I've read it now (or so far).

I expect everyone else has already spotted this but I've just started the Benny Imura stuff - Rot and Ruin - The kids collect Zombie Hunter cards (like Baseball cards) and one of the rare ones is "Captain Ledger"! Loved the reference.
