For my part I have 48 Completed series, 74 current, 137 I'm hopelessly trying to catch up to and 23 I've abandonned. As you can see, I'm very wary of starting new one because my reading list is already out of control....I think I need an intervention.

I keep telling myself that I can't die until my TBR list is finished! :)

Total seri listed = 525
Seri not started yet = 122
Seri current or finished = 168
Seri on going or abandoned = 235
I've only listed books on FF that I own, so no wish listed books. As to next seri, I'm a mood reader, so it could be anything.

I am following 246 series, with 940 books read.
I am partially through 79 Series - though many of them im current up to the books released. I have not started 93 of them have not been started yet.
So much to read, so little time.

I am current/done with 50 series, and have 60 that I haven't started yet.

Karen - Go to the My Series page and follow the column headers to the far right column that says "Progress." Click on the tiny arrows immediately to the right of the word and it will sort your series by how far along you are. Depending on which arrow you click, your series will sort in both ascending (starting with series you haven't started) or descending (starting with series that are current) order.
Hope this helps

To me current means I've read everything that's been published. Finished means I've read everything and no other novels are planned. I think short stories are extra and shouldn't be counted for the status of the series.

I did say, "planned." The status of a series can be changed by an author at a later date, doesn't stop me from saying I've finished the series now.

I like your FFN finished for now.

Total Series: 174
Series Current: 19
I wish there was a way to shift some of the series to account for those deliberately abandoned. Also, for some of these series, I am actually current, but unpublished books have been added to the series.

I too would love it if those could be put in a separate "pile".
We don't have an option (yet) to not include the series in your "ALL" list if you abandoned it. But if you go to your Next Book List (http://www.fictfact.com/profile/nextb...) you can head to the pulldown next to the book and select "Remove from Next Books". That will remove abandoned series from that list and you won't get notified when new books get added to that series.

Series Completed (all published) 49
Finished novels but not all novellas(completed series) 16
Waiting for next installment 42
Haven't read all yet or may not finish series 86
This really made me look back at all the series I have forsaken or need to get back to. There are some I will never spend time finishing but others are definitely on my "to read" list. I wonder how others handle the novellas in their completed count?
Love Fict Fact and appreciate the hard work that goes into keeping us up-to-date with our reading passion.

Some books, that in english is one book, are more than one book in my language and that makes it even harder.
But I love FictFact because I've noticed that I've missed a book now and then in some series. Keep up the good work!
I also read some books that is bundled together with other with other books in a combined ISBN-number which makes it a bit strange. Since I've read the book but not with that exact ISBN-number. But that is not a big problem for me. Just get an odd feeling. :)

Hey Karen - life is too short to read something you are not enjoying... unless you are getting paid to do it!! LOL - What series are you reading now??

I actually share my Kindle with my nieces and nephew. Sometimes I get books that there is stuff I do not want my nieces/nephew to read. I actually go in under Manage My Kindle Content and physically remove them from my "own" list or from the Kindle list. I maintain that if you are not enjoying a series and can express in words, not against the author, but reasons like the pace is too slow for my liking or like you stated the torturing of animals was too much for me as a reader, or something along those lines it helps others of us out there that feel that same as you do, but hopefully doesn't hurt the author too much. No one is perfect and a reader is subjective as you have said, but good reviews of why and why not are helpful, too! ;)
Best of luck in your next series. I too am like you and have to finish a bad, in my opinion, read but I can stop a series in the middle and just skip the rest...
