Tally has finally become pretty. Now her looks are beyond perfect, her clothes are awesome, her boyfriend is totally hot, and she's completely popular. It's everything she's ever wanted.

But beneath all the fun -- the nonstop parties, the high-tech luxury, the total freedom -- is a nagging sense that something's wrong. Something important. Then a message from Tally's ugly past arrives. Reading it, Tally remembers what's wrong with pretty life, and the fun stops cold.

Now she has to choose between fighting to forget what she knows and fighting for her life -- because the authorities don't intend to let anyone with this information survive.

Hi Jen!! I don't know how I missed this, this is the second book in the series. I will start the first book today. So should be done with this book monday, so will only start the second book around tuesday.

Part Two: (view spoiler)[ I don't get Paris. I thought he was going to play a much bigger role once she got to Pretty-town, but he has actually been pretty lame. I like Zane so much better. Ten bucks says that Shane finds a way to betray Tally before the end of the next "part". (hide spoiler)]

Finished - Thank goodness I don't have to hear "Bubbly" anymore!!! I'm so over it. (view spoiler)[ So the thing is, a middle book in a trilogy goes, it's not awful. I get why the author took so long for Tally to be reunited with David and even why she has a new love interest from Pretty town. What I don't get was the whole part with Andrew. I feel like our MC has enough on her plate just fending off the evil doctor, I didn't require another reason to hate the Specials - I was already there. If book 3 is a big adventure to save Andrew's people, I'm not sure I'm interested. (hide spoiler)]
