Regarding the Mac v. Dani focus, I really hope that Feverborn and Feversong will both have Dani's POv, because if not, what is the point of advancing her story? I have a bad feeling that Burnd will be the last book where dani is also a main focus :(

@Cookie--I think we will get a lot more Dani time in the upcoming books IF...and this is a BIG IF...if somehow Moning pulls off getting more fan base to like Ryodan and Dani in Burned. Dani aging rapidly, which it appears like it is happening in Burned. I think was her first step towards that.

oh yeah I'm definitely thinking K Mo's playing the whole absence makes the heart grow fonder in regards to Dani/Ryo.

Most people's problem was Dani's age and she's remedying that in this book. Hopefully people will be like okay wait let's pause Mac and see what's going on over there! especially seeing in that excerpt what Mac's going through, she's a mess.
There's no way she's not going to pull through on their storyline, she promised another epic hot duo and I'm gonna believe her on that one

I read about Hunters in the other books, they can sift worlds. they're not even from Faery really. It's GOTTA be her!

I was also going by what Karen had said on FB when people mentioned their speculation on the publisher pushing her to do Mac and less focus on Dani. She denied it strongly. So I honestly don't know what to think.. All I know is I am team Dani/Ryo and feel ripped off right now and not looking forward to being mostly in Mac's messed up head again. lol

I didn't read it as literally crashing into a new planet. I read it as a metaphor. But you ladies are the Dani expert so I'll take your word for it meaning she is sifting worlds.

Maybe she finds out her mother isn't dead but in Faery. Maybe she realized that Ryodan has feelings for her. Any of those could be metaphorical new planets she crashes into even if she doesn't want to.

The only thing stopping me from thinking it is a metaphor is the part about "rocket fuel gets dumped into my gas tank" If it was a metaphor that doesn't really fit?

I think the quote is more like an analogy to me and Mac is famous for analogies and down home daddy charm. In my head I always called her bumper sticker MAC...because her inner voice is like a bumper sticker.

My gut instinct is telling me that we are right.
I can already imagine him giving her shit, since Barrons seemed to think she purposely went into Faery to hide so that they couldn't find her. I'd think Ryodan would be thinking the same thing.
