No Dani was with Christian in his loft? Apartment ? And yes this is what drives me nuts about Dani and Ryo. Ryodan did everything possible to be with Dani in the beginning of Iced and just after she nearly dies he go and gets all cool and don't care! That is why I have all this crazy ideas and theory's ! Maybe he is just not that into her!! And Jo the Ho Ho is his flavor after all!!

See. So that doesn't make sense because if they sense emotions too why he didn't know something was wrong. I'm all confused. Lol.

To answer your question...I don't think he liked her in any fashion at first. He needed to get her for whatever purposes. I think she started to grow on him. But he did get "cool" with her even when she was in the uniform from the club. I thought that was interesting. He refused to look at her and she thought it was because she looked stupid. I gather it was because he didn't want to think of her in that fashion. She is not ready for it yet. Lol.

Were you guys thinking of when Dani almost got killed by the ice shards, Jayne stole her sword, then Jayne told Ryodan Dani was nearly dead? I found this quote:

I think you guys are on the right track that after the incident in the church where Dani is endangered, Ryo gets really rattled and has to recharge by boinking Jo, Ryo is avoiding any similar situations where Dani may be put in great danger and he is feeling weird things for her. Because he doesn't want to think of her that way yet (which is why he wouldn't look at her in the waitress clothes).

Wow, I didn't even think that that was why Ryo didn't go after her when Jayne took her sword. That makes so much more sense now, because I kept thinking: to let Dani under someone else's supervision is so not how Ryo would act.

Hi I just thought of something els that Kat set. She says she feels nothing where Ryodan stands with her empath gifts! So maybe they feel alive when they boink there woman? Both Mac and Dani POV says that the men laugh and look alive when they have sex!!! Dani says she wish she can hold Ryodan face with her hands because she thinks she can catch joy in her hands?

I think she doesn't feel anything because they are different. They have died too many times. I think feel alive at other times. So i can't agree with that one.

I thought she was human with super human powers, probably due to her parentage. (Didn't KMM say in some Q & A that one of the druids who slept around a lot could have been her father?) Also if she is a sidhe-seer, she must be part human and part seelie right? Didn't the Seelie king mix his blood with human women to create the sidhe-seer race?

I thought KMM mentioned that her father was irrelevant. She never mentions him. She said Ryo knows more about Dani than we do. I get the feeling she is mixed with something.

Just found the quote. KMM said that Ryo is not Dani's Dad (duh, yuck) and then:

In another spot online I saw her quoted to say "that's a valid theory" ... so I guess that doesn't mean he is. I suspect KMM doesn't have anyone necessarily pinned down as her "father" persay. But she could have extra powers from druid blood? I don't really know who Dageus is anyway. Couldn't get into the Highlander books.

I disagree Dani is change in away but she is mostly human! Kat says she shines with a inner light like no other person she have seen!!!

I just think there is more to her than we know. I'm not ruling out anything.

I am sharing one of my dark fantasies with you guys. It go like this Dani comes back from faery all grown up !!!! She knows her own emotions and spending time with Christian taught her about other peoples needs. So she is 19 now and piss off with the things that went wrong? She is a drop dead gorgeous 19 year old woman! She goes to Chester's to see Jo and there is Jo still happily f Ryodan.Their exclusive. After all this time! Dani is so happy and she make sure everybody knows this! The first morning after her shift ends she is in the tuxedo club looking the men over! Because she wants action and satisfaction!! She knows how to get it she walks on to the dance floor and shake what her mother give her! Within 2 minutes she have made her decision its the tall dark hair waiter with the amazing apps!! She looks at him and he nots she throw her head back, laugh and head for the door he follows her out the door.

LOL! So she gets with the waiter.

I agree, I can't wait till we get to see Ryodan's reaction to Dani as a sexy 19 year old. Hopefully Burned is full of a hella lot of sexual tension. ;)

I'm actually pretty excited to see Jo's heart get broken. Does that make me evil? Lol, I actually enjoy the Jo & Ry-O scenes. They make me feel such angst.

I think Jo knows deep down that she is just temporary. She says she knows she's just "making a memory." But she is trying to be with Ryodan for as long as possible. Poor girl, she will just get cast aside.

Also I remember reading somewhere that KMM said that Dani will be 'doing the dirty' with two of the characters in the series. And that serious shit goes down, after her first hook up. I'm hoping that her first lover is Dancer, since they could actually engage in a healthy relationship at this point and short term wise it would work.Hopefully KMM torments Ryodan with this as much as he shoved Jo and his fling down Dani's. Also, I just want to see Ryodan being totally jealous. >:)

Also does anyone else think that maybe Dani has the song of making copy living in her like Mac's sinsa dubh? This talk of light emanating from her glowing body is making me super suspicious. Either i'm looking too deeply into the descriptions or there's some foreshadowing occurring. And do you guys think that next book Dani will be able to shift? This book she kept talking about how her powers were sort of changing. I would love it if she outdoes Ryodan, and he can't catch her because she's faster than him!

I read this really interesting theory that the perhaps the excerpts KMM has released from the UK and his concubine's perspective are actually Christian and Dani. Since Christian kept talking and seemed obsessed about the UK and his concubines love story it would make sense that maybe he'd try to relive it? And maybe that's why she screamed at the end of the excerpt. Ahhh. So many possibilities. I can't wait till it's released.

Yes I also think Dani has the song of making in her Fresiako!!! I do think that Christian will be Dani first time not Dancer or Ryodan. But will it not be some feck up shit if it is Barron's and that is the reason why Mac and Barron's is having problems? Dani does have a major crush on him from way back .
