Kenyon and Ione are both good. You could also try Gena showalter's LOTU series.

I just started Darynda Jones' Charley Davidson series. It's not bad so far.

Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews is great!

Patricia Briggs - Mercy Thompson series is good. The first book wasn't the best but everything after that is great. Then if you like that try her, Alpha & Omega series. Also pretty awesome.

Have you tried the Dragon Kin series by GA Aiken? I didn't read the first one but I read About a Dragon and found it funny and sweet at times. Be warn however, the heroes in this series like to call the heroines names that may be harsh to many.

Also, how about the Guild Hunter series? Here is the first book Angels' Blood. I've only read the first in the series but I've heard many great things about it and look forward to read more. I believe the first couple of books is about Gabriel and Elena but after that the series changes gear and focuses on Gabriel's guardians who are all type of hots.

I would also like to recommend Kirsten Ashley fantasyland series. My favorite in the series is Fantastical. This series focuses on time travel which reminds me of the highlander series but is in no way alike.
