Class of 2015 discussion

"Lucky, if I had a dollar for every time someone called me that, I would be rich". The Raft is about a young girl named Robie who travels a lot and one day she is in a plane crash. She is left in the ocean with a raft, some skittles and a boy named Max and they have to learn to survive. My opinion on this book is that it was a good book, but I had nothing to relate to like being stranded in the ocean, but it was a good book. I would recommend this book to young teenagers. Some other books written by the author are The Compound and The Fallout. How would you feel if you were stuck in the ocean with no food or water with just a raft and a boy?

If I were to be stuck in this situation I wouldn't have known what to do. It would be a sad and scary problem not knowing how to survive in the middle of the ocean and especially stuck with one only boy, why not ten!?

Oh Gabby...anyways the book sounds interesting I honestly would panic and overthink the situation.

I would be scared out of my mind if i ever had to experience a plane crash and learn to survive in the ocean.

I would have also been scared and it sound like a T.V show
I watched called Lost about people that were in an island that survived a plane crash. Great job!

Wow I agree with you Jenny it reminded me of a show, called LOST. I would not know what to do if I would experience a plan crash and land in an island. Good book review Viviana!
