If the blog review is for an entire series, as opposed to a specific book, you can read any book in the series.

Great!
Great!

I did have a question for you Sandy. Are we supposed to link somehow to the specific review or just like the list of mysteries page.

link to the specific review. When you're on the page of the review, the url should be up in the top bar of your browser. Copy and paste that into your post.

It is the second book on that page. I'm not getting how to link to a specific review on the blog.

Sheila...
If you click on the TITLE link just above the cover image (on the blog page) it will take to to a page that is for JUST that book ... the review is there and so are comments

(I discovered this by accident ...)
You know, Sheila, I imagine that there are quite a few people who you have helped by asking this question and getting the directions for how to do this!

I'm not sure what you mean - this task doesn't involve writing a review. The book you choose must have been reviewed on this blog.

It's great, isn't it? It was recommended by my local library, and I thought it was terrific.

Just want to make sure this would work for a review done of the series. Thanks.

yes, since the review was for the whole series, you can use any book from the series.

if your book choice was reviewed in the blog, then it fits the task.

Blogging for a Good Book is a blog written by the staff of the Williamsburg, VA public library, with reviews of hundreds (thousands?) of books!
The link takes you to the main review page, which has the most recent reviews first. On the right side of the page are links to a long list of categories - reviews by specific staff members and specific categories of books.
Read a book that has been reviewed in this blog. Note: Your book must meet the general SRC requirements even if it has been reviewed here.
REQUIRED: Include a link to the review in your completed task post.
