As a writer, not a marketer, reviews (and sales) have been hard to come by, even with my social media presence, among several other online sites, too many to mention here. Not at all, Zahara. I was just curious. However I see some have mistaken my intent and done some purposeful negative things so I've removed my request. I'm saddened that happened here.

My curiosity has been appeased, however, in learning what effect visitors clicking helpful has on which reviews come to the fore. I wish you all well.

I understand your curiosity, Norm, but you really were asking people to upvote positive reviews. That is gaming the system and as you can tell from the negative response you got, readers don't like that.

Try to ignore the reviews if you can.

I am now somewhat more sophisticated after this experience than I was before it.

Good on you. Not everyone is big enough to admit when they've made a mistake.
