Laura Meyerovich (laurameyerovich) | 8 comments Thanks Jacov! It came just in time, because I released my book on Kindle two weeks ago and now need to prepare it for Kobo (and find out what is Smashwords)

If I learn something I do not already know, which is a very low bar, I promise a review.

I believe there are some subtle differences between each that are critical to getting the best results. I think Jakov has spelled them out succinctly. Good luck and keep on writing. :-)

Laura - I publish with both Smashwords, Amazon and All Romance eBooks. Smashwords distributes to Kobo, Apple, so many different places for you. I really encourage you to check them out. They also have a great formatting guidelines ebook that's really cheap (or maybe it's for free, I don't quite remember).

I put my ebooks up wherever I can. Amazon is a huge platform, but Smashwords is also doing well and growing.
