I realised this morning that I've been very bad lately about updating my ng reviews when the Amazon review posts. I don't mind going back to spend the time filling them in, but is it worth it? Can publishers see that you do that, or does it matter?

I have no idea if the publishers can see that information or not, but I tend to update NG anyway.

I know this won't help your situation now but whenever I submit a review to NetGalley at the end I add "will post to Amazon upon publication". I don't go back and add the links,too much work. I've been doing this for 4 years and have never had a complaint :)

I do the same...just post a note about publishing to Amazon during pub week.

I tend not to go back and post the Amazon links unless requested specifically by publishers/authors. If they send me an email (it does happen sometimes), then I'll go hunt up the link and update, otherwise, nope.

How about an email on publication day saying don’t forget to tweet congratulations to the author & send me your review / blog link? I never know whether I should respond, because I still do add all the links to NG .
