I am reading all the new Lilian Darcy releases and then the new Sharon Shinn. Then I will read the latest In Death...

Phoenix77 | 346 comments I started He's No Prince Charming but I'm not really thrilled with how the author is setting up the story. I might have to push through to see if it gets better. I also raided by TBR pile and started The Damsel in This Dress by Marianne Stillings (much better start!)

Hope you love the Marianne Stillings, Phoenis! I miss her:(

I just tore through the Beautiful series by Christina Lauren. Very hot. I love the friendships and family interactions in these books.

Then, I read an ARC of Mira Lyn Kelly's upcoming Touch & Go. Great book! Funny and sexy and sweet. And surprisingly poignant. I've found a new contemp author to glom. I'm already halfway through the first book in the series, Truth or Dare. Both are friends to lovers, and again the circle of friends surrounding the heroes and heroines are part of what make the books so special.

Cheryl (cawils_99) I'm starting this week with The Trouble With Honor.

Romanticbookworm | 77 comments I am still enjoying To Wed A Highlander by Michele Sinclair.

Rachel Hill | 487 comments I'm excited for Michelle Willingham's new book

message 8: by Leigh-Ayn (new)

Leigh-Ayn | 1214 comments I've recently discovered the Bridgerton series by JQ.... Yes I have apparently been living under a rock!! I'm half way through the 4th book and about the same through the first Smythe-Smith book!

JQ is awesome, Leigh-ayn :) Happy Reading!

Rachel Hill | 487 comments I'm reading the Trouble with Honor and so far I just think she's an idiot, not really a character I can get behind. I feel like the sister Grace, I just want to yell at how unnecessary her idea is

message 11: by John (new)

John Hennessy | 63 comments I'm making progress on The Accidental Duchess by Madeline Hunter. I think it's good so far, about half way through now, and I like the heroine...the 'hero'...not so much. He's rather evil. Makes for a good read so far. May finish it this weekend.

There is another book about Grace which I am tempted to get. Honor does some strange and crazy things, but I enjoyed her craziness!

message 13: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Hill | 487 comments John I may give the next one a go. I just didn't like the heroines personality and couldn't attach myself to the character in a way that I really gave two sh*** on what happened to her.

Super excited to start A Viking for a Viscountess by Michelle Willingham! She's one of my all time favorites!!! She also finds the hottest guys for her covers!

message 14: by Tawna (new)

Tawna Eldridge | 3 comments I've been reading any Anna Campbell book I can. I just love discovering a new author!

message 15: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cawils_99) I finished The Trouble With Honor and it was good but not great. Now I'm starting Abducted by a Prince.

message 16: by Kym (new)

Kym | 206 comments I'm going through a LOT of Chistmas anthologies and novels, bu also listening to A Bollywood Affair . It's quite good, though there are some cultural subjects I'm not familiar with.

Just finished Lick by Kylie Scott. Not my usual jam but I really liked it. The hero David was a sweetie and the heroine was curvy and tough. I'm a sucker for cross class historicals, and it's not a stretch to see rock-star/regular girl as a contemporary version of Duke/governess.

message 18: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Hill | 487 comments Cheryl - I totally agree, the writing was ok but the characters were lacking to me. By far not the worst book I've read

I've read first three books now, Okie and highly recommended them. Mal and Jimmy are even better than David and that's saying something!
