Brittany Morrison | 145 comments I finished Pack Challenge by Shelly Laurenston this afternoon. I feel like every year I go through a small cringe worthy phase were I can't help but read weird werewolf books. The MC is 28 so I'm going to use it here.

Harry Patrick | 109 comments Just finished reading Painting on the Pond by Sharon Lewis Koho. All of the main characters are in their 20's. A romance with a "ghost" story, it's kind of sugary sweet. Cedar Fort, the publisher, is an independent LDS publisher.

Ilham Alam (ilhamalam) | 38 comments Well I’m currently reading Thomas Hardy’s “The Trumpet-Major” right now. This was one of Hardy, the famous Victorian-era writer of tragedies that calls out the oppressiveness of Victorian class consciousness and social mores, lesser known novels, it is no less entertaining. This can be termed as a “romantic comedy/historical fiction” set during the Napoleonic Wars of the early 1800’s, so the genre, the time period and the topic he was writing about was vastly different.

2 out of the 3 main characters, Anne Garland and Robert Loveday, are in their 20’s. They form part of a love triangle that also involves Robert’s older brother, John the Trumpet-Major.

Dana (dana_joy) | 14 comments I'll have to decide between two novels as to which I'm counting for this prompt; Emma The titular Emma is 21 from the start of the novel or The Deal Both leads are 20/21, super fun New Adult romance with lots of great banter

Sarah B | 101 comments I just read Marrying Mozart for this. He's 21 when the book starts. A truly fantastic and true story!

Lilith (lilithp) | 1073 comments Surpassing Certainty: What My Twenties Taught Me by Janet Mock. She has a lovely writing style; I felt like I was in Hawaii ( minus the humidity), Rhode Island and NYC with her. Her observations on intersectionality of race, gender and class are really well-thought out and so poised.
Wonderful book to celebrate Pride Month and to deconstruct racism. Solid 5 stars.

message 113: by Azuki (new)

Azuki | 7 comments I just read Call the Midwife (book 3), and it says "22 year old Jennifer Worth went to work as a midwife", so the trilogy will totally count towards this challenge.

message 117: by Kirby (new)

Kirby | 25 comments For this prompt, I read Catch-22 by Joseph Heller (fiction). The main character, John Yossarian, is 28 years old. To my huge surprise, not only did I not DNF this book, but I ended up finding it very funny.
