Jenn (malleybean) Is there a way for an author to notify all followers at one time when she has a new release, rather than messaging individually (which of course if frowned upon)? The best I can figure is for her to encourage followers to sign up to be e-mailed when there's a blog update. As a Goodreads user, I don't seem to be getting e-mails even when I check the box to get them for blog updates, so not sure that's the best option either.

Ken (kendoyle) | 347 comments You could post a general status update (to all friends) or a blog post (to all followers). I don't think there's a way to send e-mail notifications, however.

Ken (kendoyle) | 347 comments Go to the GR home page, on the right, scroll down to your "Currently Reading" section. There's a link to update the status of your "currently reading" books, but also one for "general update".

Angela Verdenius (angelacatlover) Oohhh, I didn't know this, either! I've been using the blog to keep readers updated. Thanks Ken.
