Rob | 1 comments Hi everyone. Pre release for my first book "Daddy on duty: Tales from the trenches of a working dad" is now out. Due for release mid December. Would be great to have some reviewers. It is a series of short stories about my life as a dad of 2 young boys and some of the antics they get up to.

Any advice on promotion/reviewing etc would be welcomed. I have had some published in The Age (Melbourne) and on Mamamia (Australia)

Thanks in advance

Rob

T.L. Swan | 1 comments Hi Rob
Congratulations on your book. I released my first book this year too....exciting times. I have just put my second book on presale and it is doing really well. I like the way you have asked openly for advice and would be happy to share what I have learned about promotion along the way. Please send me a private message on my Facebook page T L Swanauthor and I will be happy to share and answer any questions you may have. I am by no means an expert but I am plodding away nicely and am happy with the results thus far. Thanks, Tee

Premise:

In the year 2262 AD there were five inhabited celestial bodies. The Earth and it’s moon as well as Mars and it’s two moons. There were also several space stations in orbit around these celestial bodies. Several more space stations were scattered around the solar system. A central government had been formed to attempt to control all of the other smaller governments, it was called the Council of governments. The Council of Governments had a private mercenary service to enforce their laws, they were called the Silver fox organization. When George and Diane decided they wanted to have children, they decided to design them rather than go natural—a secret they barely managed to keep from the solar system government. They ended up developing an entirely new species that would change history and space forever. In Mates: From the Beginning, young Adam and Eve are forever under suspicion by the government due to their odd appearances and staggering intelligence. Choosing to fake their deaths and complete their genetic modifications away from prying eyes, Adam and Eve return as “aliens” to help the governments they once hid from.
