But I was kidding, I actually stopped seeking readers. Nobody wants to read my work, not even friends and not even for free. It's amazing. I guess they have some magic faculty and already know it's boring without even try to read it.

At some point, most authors hope they won't have to do promotion, but I have to say that's not true. It's part of the game from indie writers all the way to those with Big Time Publishers.
I've been writing for publication for 20 years, so I am confident in what I'm putting out there, story-wise. The challenge is in connecting with readers of my new genre, science fiction. I came to this Kindle Scout campaign with mystery and romance fans. Thankfully, some of them are willing to follow me down another hallway.

Here are some features: a brilliant scientist, a libido-charged robot, a secret society, double crosses, global food and water shortages... All of this in G-1.
The first 50 pages are posted at the Kindle Scout site. Check it out. Books with enough nominations are selected for publication - and the readers who nominate those titles get the Advance Review Copy FREE. https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/5YHX...
