Diane | 20 comments Hi Brittany!
I 'm so pleased you have read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek . I found it to be a novel with several 'lessons': how stories/books help people live better lives, how librarians themselves define the principles of affirming and celebrating the worth of each and every person, how libraries create communities, and help educators improve their transmission of the process of learning. It was challenging for me to put the book down until I reached the end. I had so many friends wanting to borrow it!
