FYI I read The Soldier And The Baby

i'll have to look at my audiobook stash - since I know I have a few by her on it

I'm in the mood for a bodice ripper, so I'm picking To Love a Dark Lord off the TBR pack!

If you haven't selected your Anne Stuart pick for this challenge, consider this book. I would highly recommend it.

I listened to The Wicked House of Rohan and in beginning of the story, I found nothing to like about the hero but by the end I thought he was ok. In general, the story moved very quickly and was just ok for me. I've heard good things about this series, so I will probably give a full length book a chance. But I'm not in a hurry to do so. I did listen to the audio and with Susan Ericksen, it is hard to go wrong. (Although I did keep hearing Eve and Roarke in my head...)
So I started a very low B and I guess that is where I'm ending too.

Thanks for introducing to a new-to-me author!

I read Never Kiss a Rake by Anne Stuart and gave it 4 *'s. This was a cute little book that I got on sale on audible.com. It was ok, I like my historical romance novels to be a bit more humorous but it was ok. There was a little mystery to solve but it was pretty obvious.

I had some real problems with this book though it did get a little better towards the end. I would probably end up somewhere between a B and C. The last quarter is the only thing that saved this from being a 2 or 2.5 star read.
