"No." She hit ignore and put it back in her pocket.
"Because I can. I'm here with you. He doesn't matter right now." She said.
"He's always mad at me." She sighed,
((Skip until later or?)"I'm sorry." She said.
"I don't know. For all of this I guess."
"A deep coma?" She asked in a small voice.
"Come on. I'll take you home." She said softly.
She kept an arm around him as she lead him out of the hospital.
She started the car. "Do you want to stay at your house until I text you to come over?"
Her phone rang again as she pulled up to his house.
"Sneak around back. Knock on my window." She kissed his cheek.
She parked his car and stepped out an began walking to her place.
A few hours later after midnight, Kaya sent him a text.
Kaya was sitting on her bed, combing had hair to try to cover her back eye.
She jumped up and opened the window.
She kept the lights off so he wouldn't see her face. "Hey." She whispered.
"How are you feeling?" She asked, her voice hoarse.
"Nothing." She shrugged and looked away.
She let him then her head but she kept her eyes away from his face.
She buried her face into the crook of his neck.
"I'm not going to cry. I'm used to it."
She stood up and flicked on the light.
She looked at him. Her right eye had a nasty black and purple bruise around it.
"Are you going to school tomorrow?"
"But I want to. I don't want you to be alone."
"Can I ask you something?" She whispered.
"Can I ask you something?" She whispered.
"Have you ever wanted to find him?"
