Allison was trailing a vampire that was known to be a killer. She stayed back at leat a block, pausing to only pop a pill into he mouth she grinned when it turned into an alleyway got you you son of a bitch she grinned and followed

She grinned as the vampire reached a dead end and turned around " shows over leech. You're going to hell"
the vampire only laughed. " you think you can defeat me halfbreed???" Allison grinned " done it before." Her gold eyes flashed
" but unlike the others, I brought friends" he gestured around
Allison looked around and spotted the kid at the entrance" him???? Get out of here kid. This place is dangerous at night"

The vampire looked bored " dear oh dear. I think i m actually dying of boredom. And I'm idea already. Get her."
Allison's eyes widened "shit. RUN!!!" She shouted at Alex, but before the word was halfway out of her mouth, 3more vampires dumped from the roofs lining the alleyway, blocking the exit. And they looked hungry

She stared him " who the fuck do you think you are???? Get behind me!! I've been doing this longer than you. This is my job" she reached into her weapons belt and pulled out a vial, uncorking it with her teeth " drink this. It'll keep them from sucking you dry" she pulled out two dagger, each blessed by a priest.

" since I was 14" she spat and twirled her daggers " eyes open as whole. There are 3 at the end of the a,let. If you want to die, be my guest"
The vampires at the end started to close them in
" enough talk let me kill you" the vampire hissed and lunged at her

She growled and dodged to the side, stabbing the stupid vamp in the heart. He howled in pain and disintegrated into ashes.
At the mouth of the alley, the other two vampires were circling the wolf while he took care of the 3rd

She growled " bastard. You just interfered with my goddamn paycheck" she leaned again the wall and glared at the wolf " gpddamn arrogant bastards interfering in our work"

She hissed at him and bared her fangs before toeing through the ashes from the vampires and picking up their fangs, ignoring him

She turned around and slammed him into the wall fast as lightning " don't call me that again" she hissed, balling her fist in his shirt collar " or I'm going to kill you myself. " she slid him up the wall so his feet didn't the ground " do you understand????? "

She dropped him and spun away, walking out the alley stiffly.she pulled out her phone, dialing a number.

She hissed at him and put the phone up to her ear " I need a cleanup inthe alleyway. 4vamps..... and I got a stupid werewolf hybrid following me" she stopped and her eyes widened as the person on the other line said something " he's a friendly. I can't kill him!! Starting to wish I could though.... take him into custody??? Hmmm......" she looked back the dog

(( are we going to bring back Maya and James?? ))
Allison looked back at him in disbelief and hung up the phone, her gold colored eyes flashing " what the hell????"

She growled and followed him. Some of the other hunters in the area were a kill first ask questions later type, and she couldn't let that happen. Mainly because that would be a hell of a lot of paperwork to file out

Maya was in the kitchen doing dishes and his little sister brittaney ran up to him "alexxx!!!!!" She squealed and jumped on him.
Outside Allison grumbled and walked up the porch steps. He made it home safe. She could leave and get some sleep before school tomorrow

" good!!" She hugged him " you're ho,e!!!!" She giggled
Maya stuck her head out of the kitchen " hey Alex. How was you're walk???"

Allison turned around and started to walk home home. " take care of your family. While you still have one"

Maya smiled at Alex and dried off her hands " dinners in the microwave. I don't think you're dad is off work yet" she looked at the clock

Brittaney pouted " awwwwwwww"
Maya chuckled " Alex needs to eat sweety"

Maya ran her hand over his hair " so how was the walk????"

She sighed " Alex I told you about that!!! Be more careful and don't go throwing yourself into danger. You could get hurt!!"

"Who has been training for only of knows how long to do what he does!! Did he want help???" She questioned him

(( BTW Allison looks like this except her eyes are gold ))

She frowned " a girl??? Poor thing. " the door bell rang and she went to answer it. She came back a few minutes later with an envelope " a girl just showed upland told me to give it to you"

The note simply read
here's your share from last night. 3 vampires- 400 dollars each. Total of $1200 Told you messed up my paycheck >:(
Inside the envelope was a stack of bills

She chuckled " really????" She mussed up his hair " OK then. Eat your dinner and wash your dishes after you're done"

Maya walked into the living room and sat down onto the couch. Brittany followed and jumped into her mom's lap

Maya chuckled and tickled Brittany, sending her into fits of laughter

Maya smiled at alex and continued to still tickle his sister " did you wash your dishes??"

Maya stopped tickling Brittany, leaving the pooor girl gasping for breath " put them on the drying rack???"

" your dad's going to be home anytime. Come sit down with your mom and little sister. Stay a while" she patted the seat next to her

She hugged Alex " love you boy. God you make me feel old"

She hugged him fighter " such a handsome young man. You are going to make some one happy. "

Maya gave him a look of mock hurt " whaaaaaaatttttttt? Its true!!! Look at you!!!" She rubbed her hands over his hair " just like your father!!!!" She laughed

She wrapped her arms around him and pinned him to the couch " not even your father can save you! Pretty boy pretty boy!!!" She laughed and kept rubbing his hair
Brittaney gigglwd "pretty boy pretty boy!!" She parroted and jumped on the couch

Maya let go of him and pouted " fine!!! Don't spend time with your mom!!!"

She laughed and wiped the side of her face " ughhhhh dog slobber"
Brittaney giggled " mommy's hair is funny"

She smacked him upside the head playfully " that's what you get!!!" She grinned and fixed her hair

"What's so wrong with a mother hugging her son????" She exclaimed. Brittsney hugged her " see brittaney likes to hug her mom!!"

She laughed and held out her arms " give your mom a hug!! What's the worst that could happen???"

She hugged him briefly and let him go " that wasn't so bad, was it??"

She messed up his hair "good. Now go do whatever"

she looked at the clock " well I'm going to put brittaney to bed then. Come on Brittaney" she picked up the little girl. "But I want to see daddy!!!!"
" daddy will be home tomorrow. Come on" she carried her to her room

" work.... I think..... at least I think he had work today" Maya frowned and set brittane in bed, tucking her in

(( dunno. Maybe he ran into some trouble with a hunter or something))

" I meant that he will be here when she wakes up tomorrow" she kissed brittaney's forehead and turned out the light

She smiled sleepily " night Alex" she yawned and rolled over onto her stomach

Maya closed the door softly and sighed " one down, one to go" kidded

She sat down on the couch next to him " I'm starting to get worried. He should be home by now"

She shook her head " I don't need too" she settled against the couch James??? Where are you??? she stretched out her mind

Her eyes snapped open and she bit her lip " oh no" she hurried and snatched up her cell phone and tried to dial his phone number. Her hands were shaking so badly that she kept hitting the wrong numbers

She screamed and raced over, dropping to her knees " oh my god!!!!! James!!!! What happened!?!?!?!?! What do I do?????" She looked at Alex with pnaick in her eyes

She stiffened " a hunter???? Why would a hunter do this???? I thought they were supposed to protect us" she wrapped her arms tightly around her torso worriedly
