Feed reminded me of our society in a way and how social media and technology consumes our lives nowadays. Feed takes that idea to the next level where there is a form of internet implanted into their brains. It makes you think that this could be a possibility in the future for our world. It is a scary thought but definitely a possibility. There are so many parallels in this novel to our world and it really makes you think of how truly consumed we are with media. Even though the technology is so advanced, these teens are so disconnected from what is going on in the real world and around them because they're too connected in their heads. The only thing I disliked was the dialog because it was a little annoying but besides that I really enjoyed the novel. I like that it scares you to think of how possible this dystopian society is.
