Another top sportive event to take place today in Saudi Arabia. A shocking and unexpected defeat in the previous bout, draws lots of attention to a rematch. Will Joshua be able to prove it was all just a random accident or will Ruiz beat him again? Don't know if we have boxing fans here, but raising it anyway :)

Joshua won by decision.

It was obvious that Joshua was going to win by points given his longer reach, height, better stamina and probably faster speed in general.

Ruiz was heavier. It seems he wasn't ready to take him on by points at all and all Ruiz want was a KO. Unfortunately, Joshua refused to engage him up close now.

That's what created the intrigue for the rematch that Ruiz managed to upset the "obvious" by knocking a clear favorite out in the first bout -:)
The bout itself wasn't very exciting as Joshua was too cautious all along, avoiding slugfest at all times.. Ruiz in his turn came to the fight 7 kg heavier, which took a toll at his speed it seems
Looking forward to Fury - Wilder in Feb and maybe Joshua - Usyk sometime
