Ceki (ceki91) | 13 comments Hi, I'm a huge fan of this series

Death Comes to the Village (Kurland St. Mary Mystery, #1) by Catherine Lloyd

mainly because there is a real couple and both the male and female lead get the equal amount of attention. Usually in these books there is only one character who stands out while the romantic interest is in the background, that bores me.

Can you recommend me similar cozy (or historical mystery) books that have couples such as this one - they stay strong throughout the series and solve the crimes together.

Thanks!

Crime-solving teams:

Anne George, Southern Sisters

Jill Churchill, Grace and Favor

Jenn McKinlay, Cupcake Bakery

Well, they don't have to be husband and wife but I'd prefer strong romance. Thanks! :)

Christine (cj-mo) | 1352 comments You might like the Lady Fan series by Elizabeth Bailey. The Gilded Shroud is the first book in this historical fiction mystery series.
