Tanu (tanu_reads) | 139 comments Lu, Eleanor Oliphant is a treat.

I haven’t heard great things about The Secret. May I suggest An Imaginary Life by David Malouf instead? It’s a beautifully written book and has some of the same spiritual feel. It’s also a quick read.

The Bonesetter’s Daughter left me rather underwhelmed, but I suspect I’m in the minority on that score, since Amy Tan’s books never have quite done it for me.

Edit: Typos!
