I just visited your website and especially like the photo and your comment about the winding road. It took me right to the roads in upstate New York of my childhood, steep ribbons up and down hills that thankfully have not changed much during my lifetime. Unlike yours, my blog is just getting started. I'm interested in topics related to family dynamics and would be honored to do a guest blog, if you could suggest a direction. Perhaps if you go to joycebhicks.com, you would see something engaging.

I checked out your Website and was particularly interested in two things. 1. your book title Escape from Assisted Living. I think I will have to read it. 2. your blog on what do we owe our children. Have you thought of doing a blog about what our children owe us? Anything? Nothing?
I'm trying to plan as far ahead as I can, so I'm thinking in advance. My theme for January is listening and for February is stories and storytelling. Those are pretty well planned already, although I'd be interested in anything else on those themes. For March, I'm thinking about a month of blogs on families in literature--from mystery, to poetry, to children's books and everything in between. In April, I'm looking at the importance of families and communities in disaster situations.
Your book title makes me want to schedule a month on the theme of "what do we do with the old folks"--especially since I'm rapidly becoming one of them. I can imagine a review of your book along with a guest blog by you about the book and what inspired you to write it. Interested?
