I am leaving for Florida on Friday, Dec. 27 and will be there until Jan. 24, 2020. So please feel free to PM me if we get a new assignment or I haven't posted or for any reason anyone thinks I might need to be told something. The Internet there is awful so I don't use their computer much, but I can usually get messages on my phone. Just FYI.

As for the challenge, there is no assignments or anything this time around. Everything is fair game for all participants - team wise or solo. So you can read for any task out of the six resolution categories. Or just read for the same task the entire month. Up to you!

Hey, team, we're getting close to our start. I've been lucky so far with the Internet. My main issue is I'm using a laptop and I'm not used to using a thumb pad, or whatever it's called. LOL

Evidently, I am an OX (which is better than the RAT I thought I was). Born January 27 in mid last century! LOL

(I got the illustrated edition for Christmas so tempted to reread it yet again😂)

I got the goblet of Fire illustrated edition for Christmas! They’re so beautiful. There’s a series BR for HP still active if you do end up rereading. I’m on book three slow reread over the past few months when I can fit them in.

I want to read the Witcher and Golden Compass but nothing I’m just waiting on the library. The Witcher one will take ages but I should be able to get golden compass soon, I’m #1 on the list now. Want to set up a BR for that one?

I’m on the 4th book of wayward children so maybe I’ll join that also

I still need to read thunderhead and am hoping to fit that in this month but I’ve already got a lot planned so I’m not sure, but glad to know there’s a thread still.

Ooh brill thanks for letting me know about the HP series BR! And ah so jealous you've got the 4th one, I'm planning on slowly building my collection with these illustrated ones. The Scythe series buddy read should be available for a while since there's a couple others also rereading who are planning on starting this month.

And buddy read for Golden Compass would be fab - I've left my copy at uni but will have access to it by Jan 8th if you're ok to start after that date? :)

I’m on my phone so can’t say much about my reads, but I know I’ve read books 1-2 of Wayward Children so maybe I’ll join the series read.

I started A Murder for the Books and I’ll be reading the series. I got book 4 from NetGalley so I’m trying to catch up before I read it.

I don't think I've come across Murder of the books before! And the fact that you've read the first couple wayward books makes me hopeful that they're good, I've not heard much about them but I am intrigued

Glad you enjoyed it, really like it at the moment and only a third of the way through! I hope you're having just as good a time with Sword of destiny

oh i am, i even started the netflix show and im currently playing the witcher 3

Anna, The Golden Compass just checked out for me from the library so if you still want to BR I could start it tomorrow or anytime soon. If tomorrow’s too soon we could wait a bit. Let me know!

Anna, I also have my HP audio I can continue my reread if you want to wait a week or so for golden compass.

I've heard such great things about the Witcher video games!! And can't wait to start watching the Netflix show but can't get myself to start it until I've at least finished The Last wish haha

I just binged the entire season 1 of The Witcher in under two days, and it’s amazing. Only benefit of being laid up sick was I watched it when I was awake.
