Tammie | 5949 comments These are the ones I enjoyed the most this month.

This Rough Magic
The Reluctant Queen
The Queen of Sorrow

Shae | 372 comments Just 2 in the top 3 for December - a slow reading month, too many Christmas events!

1. Priest of Lies - I thought this was even better than its predecessor!
2. The Ruthless - Also thought this was better than its predecessor :-)

Can't wait to read book 3 in both of these trilogies - looks like there's already a lot to look forward to in 2020!

Aakash (procrastinator) | 448 comments 1. Insurgent. I loved insurgent but I can't say same for the Allegiant. I didn't hate it but it wasn't same as Divergent or Insurgent.

2. Thirteen Reasons Why. I basically read it so that I can watch the show which I still haven't seen.

3. Paper Towns. It wasn't John Green's best but it was a fun and quick read.

Mel | 2360 comments 1. To Be Taught, If Fortunate - While I didn't enjoy it in quite the same way as her Wayfarers series, Chambers remains on my automatic to-read list

2. Minor Mage - I realized that somehow over the years I'd added 5 different books by Kingfisher to my to-read list, without realizing their common author. I tested the waters with this charming novella of budding new mage and his magical familiar: an armadillo. Have high hopes for the others.

3: Until My Feet Bleed and My Heart Aches - Uh, not a book, but some indulgent Yuri on Ice AU fanfiction. Drawn out in parts, and could definitely use some editing, but was plotted well. *sigh* The heart wants what it wants.

message 6: by Marie (new)

Marie I don't have three, but I have one top read for December 2019.

This one:

The Crane War (The Metaframe War, #5) by Graeme Rodaughan by Graeme Rodaughan - five star read.
