How did you do this year? Did you meet your goal?

What was your first book read in 2019 and your last, same genre or different?

Lea Ann (buntingla) | 765 comments So far I've read 36 books (still working on a couple), so I'm short of my 52 books for the year. The first book of the year was The Woman in the Window by AJ Finn. It was a psychological thriller and one of the books I enjoyed the most this year. The last book I read (so far) was Entering Normal, contemporary fiction. I'll update if I finish any others in the next few days.

I read 109 books, the shortest one being 85 pages and the longest 830 pages.
I started out the year with An Awkward Way to Die which is one of the last book in the series about the adventures of Cyrus Barker and Thomas Llewelyn, private enquiry agents in Victorian London. One of my favorite series. I will be ending it with Spinning Silver a fantasy novel that I have some love/hate moments going on with at the moment.

There were some short books, and some with a lot of sex scenes that you can skim over so they go by quick, lol.
