2020 Team Competition Tracker/Google Sheet Central

If you want to move rows again, take a look at that comment: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I explain how to select an entire row and 'slide' it :)
My interesting stat for 2020... making even teams:
Me & Soo combined = 3020.9 points
3rd thru 9th place = 3110.3 points
10th thru 19th place = 3004.5 points
20th thru 44th/46th place = 3097.4 points (2 people haven't input any books)
I was kinda impressed how close the scores ended up, considering I didn't rearrange anything, just picked 3000 point minimum, and noted beforehand that me & Soo were 24% of the points for the year...
Math done by highlighting cells with Shift-Click, and viewing the sum in the bottom bar on PC browser...

Did the easy part, got myself up to date! Jumped 9 places and added about 60 or so points.
Started working with Julia to get up to date. It's going to be an effort :)

It's basically just me, when I remember, but I haven't even been filling in my own sheet...
I did my best to fill in everything... it's easier to accurately date Soo's stuff than the team stuff...
Hope it's not too salty to say the solo/team milestones are less interesting, when it's basically just a record of one person/team... part of that is me & Soo's outlier numbers, and the other is the 2 team format this year...
Virginie's changes to the ranking page, to track % was a great change-up...
The tracking of everyone reading 1 million & 2 million pages is still great, tho :D

I love the percentages most, and the total pages! :)

Haha bless ya! ❤️

I kind of ignored this spreadsheet for a while, hoping that nothing (big) would break... So far, so good!
I still have a ton of unfinished/half-implemented improvements on my own scoresheet 😰
Yeah, I agree that milestones are less interesting with only two teams. The % change was self-motivated. I wanted a way to worm my way to top ranks without being one of the reading powerhouses LOL.

Today I was happy to see the the new The Sandman audiobook was out on Audible and downloaded it. I'll be listening to it soon enough, but when looking at it for the challenge I was like, page counts...ummm. There is not a print edition of this thing.
But. I saw that it's an adaptation of the comics that is covered by The Absolute Sandman, Volume One, so using the page count from there at 616, does this seem fair? Also, it's 11 hours of audio so not sure how that translates over.
In the rules thread, we decided audio-only books were 30 pages/hr, or a page every 2 minutes... that's the average book narration rate at 1x speed...
~330 pages is better than the Graphic Novel Rule, which would be 616/4 = 154 pages...

Can someone please add november and december to my sheet? Thanks :)"
I did what I could with it...
November/December rows have been added... I think I fixed all the formula errors when i copied them... just message again if you notice something...
Basically what I gave Soo last week...
I changed the Total Pages/Points to only track thru Halloween for competition tracking... and added a column on the far right to give you the accurate 2020 pages...

Yes, it's great! I had it for the whole year in 2019 as well (even though i hit a severe reading slump and didn't read a single book in nov and dec LOL)
Went in and gave everyone that asked the changes... the more I did it the faster I got at it... and I found a real annoying issue with the month formulas...
Someone setup January to be fully draggable, but left February-October hardcoded... once I realized that, I could just drag January down and all the monthly formulas adjusted themselves...
I also finally realized the issue Soo was having with Double December... it's because the month name is also a formula, but needs a month number in the hidden column on the right (11/12)... otherwise it defaults to December for some reason...
And I moved everyone's 2020 page total to the boxed section on the left, so I no longer needed to add a column on the right..

I’ll go in and check when I get home... sounds like a formula problem in the monthly section... the top formula just grabs the numbers from January to October, to keep competition numbers separate from 2020 numbers... is the 2020 number on the left accurate, below the short story/book/tome tracker?

Nope, it's the same as the top box next to total pages.
I am pretty sure it is more than 33k since my GR bookshelf stat shows 39k and the FBR sheet is much more accurate since I also included books I did not put in GR.
I fixed it... I don't think I broke it...
It's actually a common problem when adding rows to the sheet... the formulas don't copy when you insert rows... and it's easy to notice that in the point section...
What's less obvious, is the hidden column on the far right, where we parse out the month so we can assign points/pages to each month correctly at the top... to fix that, you need to unhide the column and drag the formula, basically any time you add rows to the sheet...
Doing this, boosted your totals by 6000 pages and nearly 100 points... I think the rest of your summed pages are for books you haven't listed as finished yet...

I've been gone for so long, but I've been updating my reads. Hopefully nothing's amiss with my numbers.

Hmm I thought I copied the formula when adding rows but maybe I did not. I also just found out that hidden column. Thank you, Iain, really appreciate the help :)

It's kinda weird to go on my Tracker and see it different from how I left it. Font colors are easy to fix but other things may not be as easy to fix because I don't know what happened on the page.
I know we can all look on each other's trackers but please be kind & not actually try to move stuff around.

I love the summary log parts that notes now many books I read & page count, etc. Kudos to our Tracker Gurus.
Points for the Team is just a nice bonus. =)
