My panel of experts have worked through the night on the entries. To protect them from recrimination they will remain anonymous unless they wish to reveal themselves.

The entries for this were fantastic. We really enjoyed reading through them and the shortlist is quite varied.

I will shortly be imposing on the panel to look at the shortlist and choose a winner.

After that I will open a thread and you can reveal your book titles add an Amazon link if you like.

This was really tough and my panel of experts battered it out but in the end they decided to have two winners.

Yes, it is. I use it in all my cooking instead of real bacon

Deep fried in bacon fat? (G) I love bacon myself, but Morningstar does a great job and it really has good flavor without the fat.

I'd worry about anything with the kind of virulent dyes in it that are required to make that pink. Less vegetarian bacon and more Bacon for Barbie, me thinks! Phnark.

Every thread turns to the bacon side, eventually. Or more or less immediately.
