Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments My panel of experts have worked through the night on the entries. To protect them from recrimination they will remain anonymous unless they wish to reveal themselves.

The entries for this were fantastic. We really enjoyed reading through them and the shortlist is quite varied.

I will shortly be imposing on the panel to look at the shortlist and choose a winner.

After that I will open a thread and you can reveal your book titles add an Amazon link if you like.

Thanks for taking part.

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments This was really tough and my panel of experts battered it out but in the end they decided to have two winners.

So, two books to go up from this competition this month and possibly two more next month.

The joint winners are......

Justice 4.1

This book has beer, punctuation, probably bacon and all sorts of really wild things.
Like spaceships and blasters and old men who aren’t wearing swimsuits.
And Yak, did we mention the yak?
---

I'm not all that bright so if someone could tell me the book titles I will put a link up :)

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments My poor earless cat used to do these things for me but I had to delegate to my tailless cockatiel this year :)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Poor cockatiel!
Sounds good. I've read the latter but not the former. That's got to go on my TBR list!

Yes, it is. I use it in all my cooking instead of real bacon

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I'd rather eat the package it comes in.

Deep fried in bacon fat? (G) I love bacon myself, but Morningstar does a great job and it really has good flavor without the fat.

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 8049 comments I'd worry about anything with the kind of virulent dyes in it that are required to make that pink. Less vegetarian bacon and more Bacon for Barbie, me thinks! Phnark.

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Every thread turns to the bacon side, eventually. Or more or less immediately.
