Catching up on Classics (and lots more!) discussion

ahhh if only it was a couple months from now i'd have joined! I just started 7 new books.

It’s same with me. But I have already missed it twice with other groups , this time I will give it priority.

Great! I hope to start this week. I am finishing up one book from December.

I missed it at least once. Will try to get to it this month.

This will be my first try in this (spy , Cold War, thriller) genre. I hope I will understand it , I lack brains to put two and two together where intricate plotting is concerned, even in movies I can’t sort out who belongs to which gang, who is double crossing and above all why are they killing each other . It’s hilarious but for this reason I always stay away from this genre.
If I like this book, I will proceed to fulfil my long cherished desire to read Godfather by Mario Puzo. I liked the Indian version movie.

Well, i can't give this one priority as the others are all part of different challenges, but i think you'll love it because I read The Spy Who Came in from the Cold and it was smashing. I read The Godfather too, years ago. I've got a paperback copy here so might have another go at it.

I’m not reading until later in the month but I’m definitely on board. It is a paperback so I’m able to bring on vacation. That is my goal anyway. Of course if I finish everything else I will start sooner.
