Haha it's fine :D...I just studied for a bio exam I missed... And I'm debating whether to have ice cream or not...
Pro: it's delicious

Pro: it's caramelly and chocolatey
Con: if I eat it now there will be no more later

Let's have it begin in an ice cream shop. An ice cream shop in Brooklyn called Ample Hills Creamery on Vanderbilt. It has the best ice cream in the world.
XD well then. Guess it's at a place called the Ample Hills Creamery.
Look it up. I swear it's the best plave in the world. I travel at least half an hour for it. Ts worth it. I mean... Like crazy worth it.
Matthew walked through the damp rain, drenched to the bones. But he didn't get cold, and was in the mood for some ice cream. Slowly he pushed open the doors of the ice cream shop, casually walking and taking a seat by the ice cream maker person. (The name eludes me...) A small smile played on his lips as he sat, resting his arms on the counter.

Giuliano was sitting, eating ice cream silently. He had been in the area, looking for a very specific book- specific edition, a specific publication date, a specific set of notes that had been written in... He was specific about his books.
((XD the funny part is I'm doing the same. And sure. I'll be sure to do that if I ever find myself on your side of the country.))Matthew had noticed a guy being silent, he didn't like seeing people alone, though generally he kept to himself. So he walked over with an ice cream shake. "Hey." He nodded toward the guy, sipping from the straw but barely getting any ice cream.

A guy on the other side of the shop tensed up. The guy who had sat beside Giuliano could be trying to kill him! He sat quietly, watching the two of them.
Giuliano looked at him cheerily. "Hello," he smiled.
Matthew nodded to him, smiling slightly. "This seat taken?" He asked as he sipped his shake.
"Well you have taken it now," he smiled.
He sat across from him. "Touché. I'm Nightfall, friends call me Night." Matthew purposely lied about his name, he didn't exactly like it.
"A curious name," he said, bowing his head. "I am Giuliano di Piero de Medici."
Matthew laughed slightly. "And you thought I had a curious name. So... What brings a guy like you to a place like this?"
"I enjoy ice cream," he said, "is it not a miraculous invention?! I have lived here 18 years and yet I cannot get enough!" He smiled happily, then kicked his cone.
Matthew nodded. "I haven't had ice cream in awhile, don't stay in one place for long either." He shrugged.
"Ah," he said. "I have lived here for..." He took a moment to count, "eighteen years."
He smiled slightly and raised an eyebrow. "Which I'm guess means your whole life?"
"No," he said. He actually did look and act much younger than he really was (in two ways) - he could easily pass as about 29. "I moved here when I had just passed my 25th summer."
He nodded. "You're.... Old!" He joked.
"I do not feel old," he said. "I do not look old... I am not greying yet."
"Older than I am." He shrugged again. "You really don't look 40 something..."
"I have barely aged since I came here," he said. "Perhaps it is the New York water?" He laughed a little.
Matthew looked around. "Oh.... So this is New York. Haven't had much time to enjoy the scenery."
"Brooklyn isn't very recognizable, though," he shrugged. "Not too much different than any other city - Boston or London..."
He laughed again. "London. Now I've been there. That was fun..."
"I was there for less than a day," he said, "it was horrible..." And the whole time he had been in a hospital. Because the Americans thought he was some kind of... He didn't even know what they thought he was.
Matthew nodded. "What happened with you?" He asked, curious.
"I was wrongly arrested and beaten and dying and my wife insisted the let me get medical attention,so they stopped their plane in London and only gave me a day to heal before insisting that they bring me back to this country," he said.
He laughed again. "Well, seems like you get around for an old dude." Matthew wondered who this guy actually was, what he did here for eighteen years.
