Oh boy did I rocket through this part...becuase it was the most boring.
I hate to say it, but I just wanted to get through this part as quickly as I could. It felt like a whole lot of Karras pouring over minute details on how to prove Regan needs an exorcism only to have it over and done with in a paragraph where the higher-ups "listen to everything Karras had to say" and they decide two or three lines later to contact Father Merrin.
All I'm saying is Part 4 better entirely be the exorcism because Part 3 was a CHORE.

Why do I just not care for the mother? Karl's story is so sad. I enjoyed all the parts with Karras, but agreed this part was TIRING to get through.
I'm glad you said that, because I also do not care for Chris!! I don't have this problem with movie mom, but book mom is annoying the crap out of me!
