Jordan Leverenz 1. Haunted Terre Haute by Ashley Hood

5/5 stars

This book is great for anyone who loves the paranormal and a bit of history. It not only gives the ghost stories but also the history behind the location. My grandparents got this for me for Christmas and I’m so glad they did. If you are from Terre Haute or just want to read some ghost stories, I recommend.

Jordan Leverenz 2. The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison

3.5/5 stars

I had to read this for my Multicultural Literature class. I gave it 3.5/5 stars because I enjoyed it. I would recommend it but there are trigger warning a for abuse, rape, and incest.

Jordan Leverenz Update: my classes have been moved online for the rest of the semester so hopefully I can get caught up on all the readings I have to do for them. I guess I technically finished my third book because we are done with it in my African Art History class but we skipped around and didn’t read the entire thing.

Jordan Leverenz My Year of Meats by Ruth Ozeki

3.5/5 stars

My Year pd Meats is about a reality tv show that shows the American wife to Japanese audiences. It talks about the meat industry. I really enjoyed it.

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) Good job Jordan! Keep it up!

Jordan Leverenz Maus II by Art Spiegelman
4/5 stars

This is the last book that I had to read for my Multicultural Literature class. I gave it 4/5 stars because even though I enjoyed it, it isn’t my favorite.

Jordan Leverenz You by Caroline Kepnes
4/5 stars

I have finally finished You. With school I was so busy that I just didn’t have the time to finish it but it’s summer vacation now. I really enjoyed it and I liked that it’s from Joe’s perspective. Now I can watch the first season of You on Netflix because I was determined to not watch it until I finished the book.

Jordan Leverenz The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
5/5 stars

My first time reading The Hunger Games and I loved it. Reading this in 2020 is strange because it feels too much like current events.

Jordan Leverenz Harleen by Stjepan Sejic
3.5/5 stars

I saw that this was free on the Apple bookstore so I decided to download it. I have gotten back into DC comics and I did enjoy this but it was mostly just setting up the story.

Hi, Jordan,
I am sorry you didn't enjoy Maus more than you did. I really loved it!

This is so true!!

Jordan Leverenz Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace by Terry Brooks
4/5 stars

This is the novelization of The Phantom Menace. I enjoyed it but there were parts that I skimmed through because even on the movie I didn’t care about, like the pod racing. Other than that it is just the movie in book form with some extra information.

message 17: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Leverenz Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
5/5 stars

Since Midnight Sun came out I decided that I wanted to read the Twilight Saga for the first time. I love the movies so I knew that I would love this. It’s not the best written book but it is so fun.

Jordan Leverenz Shadow Vista by Charles Colyott and Mark Steensland
4/5 stars

I got this book from the Nightworms book box. It’s only 100 pages so I knew it would be an easy read for the weekend. It’s a short horror story and I really enjoyed it.
