James Mason | 8 comments I am sorry if this already exists!

This time last year, my family and I moved overseas and began learning a new language. Due to all of the change, Apart from school and my daily Bible reading, I read little. I am looking at taking a step forward this year. Following Tim Challies book plan, I am going to set a goal of 26 books. I was able to map out some, but would love any recommendations next to spots that do not have a book!

1. A book recommended by someone else
2. A Biography
3. A Christian Novel
4. A book about History

10. A book more than 150 years old: The Confessions of St. Augustine
11. A book on the ECPA bestseller list
12. A biography for children or teens
13. A book of your choice: The Colson Way - Strachan
14. A book about Church History
15. A book written by a Puritan: The Reformed Pastor - Baxter
16. A book by or about a M: The Hiding Place
17. A book about Theology: God's Word Alone- Matthew Barrett
18. A book you think will make you a better person
19. A book recommended by a family member
20. A book that looks easy to read
21. A book published in 2020
22. A book on the current New York Times list of Bestsellers
23. A commentary on a book of the Bible
24. A book of 100 pages or less
25. A book of your choice: Through Gates of Splendor - Elisabeth Elliot

Evangelist Jordan (chosenwithcare) | 55 comments I wish I could read like that! The mostly that I read for the whole year is the Bible; I have read through it many times, but want to read it again. I am reading the book of John now. God bless your reading!

message 4: by James (new)

James Mason | 8 comments I struggle to read this much as well. I have found that I am more successful when I plan and map out each book. So here, I am planning to read a book every 2 weeks. I simply consider how many chapters I need to read for 14 days in order to finish a particular book. Even still it can be difficult.

May your time in the book of John be fruitful.

Mickey Mullen (mrmullenvcncom) | 632 comments 3 have you ever studied St John or are you referring to the other john that is false doctrine? After I was saved God put a nauseous spell on me until I realized The Acts through Jude our false doctrine, and Paul was never saved. That should cut down on your reading, When I studied St John I spent a week on one verse at times. www.mickeymullen.com/

Mickey Mullen proclaims the Apostle Paul has a false apostle.

This coming from a man who claims to be Elijah.

Even though Jesus Christ clearly says that John the Baptist was the Elijah who was to come.

Paul was not a false apostle... but Mickey Mullen is a false prophet.
___

Jesus tells us who was the Elijah who was to come...

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah, which was for to come.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. - Matthew 11:13-15

message 7: by James (new)

James Mason | 8 comments I have learned that if I am one of the few who believes something to be true, it is in all likelihood false.

writer... (goodreadscomwriter) | 2 comments For your 3rd selection, a Christian novel, have you read James Robart? My recommendation..

Mickey Mullen (mrmullenvcncom) | 632 comments James wrote: "I have learned that if I am one of the few who believes something to be true, it is in all likelihood false." Why is this so? It is because Satan is involved with everything on the earth, but people can't seem to understand that. An article I got out of the news paper. George Orwell "There are some ideas so absurd that only an intellectual could believe it," Tomas Jefferson with his intellect said Paul was the the first corrupter of the Gospel, which is true. Who wants to believe that when Paul is preached 99.99% of the time in your church. Do you think God is happy because of this He removed the salvation experience from the churches. Joel 1:13-St John 5 43-44 St Matthew 13: 11-16 That is why I don't go to any church.

Jenny Sanders | 3 comments Nos 5 & 19: Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez; recommended to me by my children and a humdinger to make you alternately weep then bang your fist. How data is based on men. Fascinating.

message 13: by Mickey (new)

Mickey Mullen (mrmullenvcncom) | 632 comments 12 It reads men but it means both. What if they are equal. It was Paul that said they are not. In Islam women don't have a soul, how convenient. "For whosoever shall (no doubt) do the will of my Father which is in heaven, (born again and receive the Holy Ghost physically) the same is my brother, sister, and mother." You should get "Mutton's Decadence" by Mickey R Mullen it is how I became redeemed at a gas station. That should show you the condition of the churches.

Jesus warned us of false prophets.

Jesus told us that John the Baptist was the Elijah who was to come.

Mickey Mullen says he is Elijah.

One of those is a false prophet.

I don't give a thin dime to anybody on this earth, because all the religions on this earth, are promoting Satan, Devil, or Lucifer. What do you think of that Robert?

But you will TAKE money from people if they BUY your books!

Jesus says John the Baptist was the Elijah who was to come.

Mickey Mullen says that he is Elijah.

Believe Jesus or Mickey?
