Hey there! It's exciting being a part of Goodreads community, isn't it? A bunch of people to meet and talk to, lots of books to recommend, and having that feeling of belonging. I always like to point out that I'm a reader first and foremost, and only then a writer. My genre is definitely romance, and the one thing I always make sure to do is - give my characters a HEA. My debut novel, If You Come Back, is exactly that type of novel. Now, I'm not saying there's no drama, because there is, but the end will definitely be worth your while. I'd like you to embark on a journey of love, forgiveness and self-growth that just might change your life!

When I'm not working on my books, I'm active on my blog - writing about topics everyone can relate to. Go check it out; the latest post deals with raising awareness about mental health issues and how there's always hope, even in the darkest of times. https://www.alexisleia.com/feed

Love,
Alexis.

o I have created a new post called harry potter superlatives....i am not exactly promoting it but sharing it as it is a very fun activity
So like in high school you have superlatives i have made superlatives for harry potter
Example : Best Hair

Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Sirius Black, Parvati Patil

Again, how do you pick? Everyone knows Serius had GREAT hair when he was at school, and Ginny, obviously. Malfoy … okay, that’s a matter of opinion. But Parvati, she’s always worried about her looks and curling her eyelashes on her wand and crap like that, so she’s bound to spend a bunch of time on her hair, right?

And then here is a poll
I have made many like this
if you want to vote
https://thecosycorner1788007.wordpres...

RIENDS! I need you to vote!! Pretty please with sugar on top!!!!

Leon Stevens (leon_stevens) | 17 comments I have done a few interviews on some book blogs in the last few months and have always enjoyed it. But then I thought, what would I say in an interview as a reader? Solution? Interview myself!

Authors Interviewing Readers

I decided to reach out to some book bloggers last week, and I came across quite a few sites that had no activity for a long period of time. I was saddened by some of the blogs that seemed to be abandoned for whatever reason, so I wrote a poem. Enjoy.

Blogbandonment

I stumbled upon your blog today
The place you built to have your say
A clever name
Graphics much the same
Stars twinkled between pages
Of poetic thoughts, dreams and rages
Shared part of your life right here
For friends and followers to hear
But where do you go?
The last post was two years ago
Why walk away?
Was there nothing left for you to say
Do you still look the same?
Do you have the same name?
I hope you left for good reasons
Like the changing of the seasons
There’s nothing I can do
Except hope for you
So I’ll go on pretending
That you wrote a happy ending
I closed your blog when I was done
The visitor count read 3,471

Here is the blog that I wrote about blogs:

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 143 comments Yay! I've just started my first blog (I'm always a bit behind) and maybe you've had enough of wordy blogs but could you please pretend that this is the very thing you have been waiting for all your life and take a look. Thank you :o)

I've just finished my fifth book and it's a change of genre from historical to Speculative Fiction or as Amazon has put it Science Fiction - Metaphysical and visionary. And they're right, of course.

Immortality This Is Probably a Novel by Anna Faversham

I'll yatter on about it another time but I just wanted to let everybody (well, perhaps a person or two) know that I now have a blog.

I expect many of you have a blog or two or more already. This is my first blogging attempt and it's here on Goodreads:

https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...
Now I know you all have heaps to do but if you want to get to know my work better (maybe you don't but could you just pretend, please) you could take a look :o) And bit by bit you'll find out more than I should probably be telling.

Ciera Rae | 3 comments NEW BLOG POST - Disappear Here Book Blog

Let's Talk About It - Betty by Tiffany McDaniel

https://disappearherebookblog.com/202...

Book club has come and gone, and I still want to talk about Betty by Tiffany McDaniel. This book has so much to unpack and discuss. I’m not doing it justice with just a simple book review. If you haven’t read Betty, I cannot recommend it enough. This book will change your life.

I could sit here and write for ages about all of the different elements of this novel, but for the sake of time (and attention span), I’m going to focus on three that stood out to me. Depending on your background and experiences, you may have walked away from the book with different thoughts on Betty’s story, and I would love to hear from you and talk about it. The layers of Betty are so many that, like following roots from a tree, no one comes out in the very same place or has the same path. That’s what is so beautiful about it.

Read the full post on the blog!!
