I can completely relate to your impatience.

" Smaug said to you:
Laura-Lee, I appreciate your enthusiasm but if you don't have an actual problem, then please say your message in Talking. My messages log should be saved for people needing questions answered. The reason I say this is because I see a lot of PMs from you to me that could be said in Talking as a normal comment and save some archive space. I am not a chat thread"
I responded to him by saying that I didn't realize he felt that way because most people like to hear when someone appreciates what they are doing. And what he thinks is several messages isn't more than a probably a dozen over the course of my membership here. Most pertain to questions about competitions and a couple about the technical problems I am having here due to the fact that several of my comments have randomly disappeared. Most of my messages to Smaug never got answered. Now I know why.
Even though I've never received a response like this before it is actually an answer to my prayer. For various reasons, I asked Jesus if I should remain in Graphical. This is the third sign. When the moderator of a group asks you to stop bothering him with personal messages, there's really only one way to interpret that.
Let me thank all of you who encouraged me in my drawing. I have improved and deeply enjoyed looking at all of your illustrations and participating in the contests.
If you wish to continue to connect with me and are not already my Goodreads friend, please send me a friend request.
I am still continuing at the other "sister" groups that revolve around creative writing.
Sincerely, Laura-Lee
Until Wednesday the 18th. I updated the GDC#5 thread to convey the information to the general public.
And I answered, excitedly, "Oh yeah! I'm going to be drawing a Fantasy Warrior!"
What response do I get? Complete silence.
So I was explaining to her about this group and everything. But my friends are used to me being not your normal/average woman in her 50s. So she asked me what my idea was for the Fantasy Warrior. When I told her, she burst out laughing. I mean, Hardcore laughter.
But I can't figure out if that's a GOOD thing or a BAD thing.
But I suppose you all will be the judge of that.
Have a great Sunday, everyone. You know what I'll be doing.
(but I doubt if I can top Feet of Flames. Ever!)
Love LL
