Kimberly Hendrickson | 4 comments Hey Andie, what are your top 5 books read from Oprah's picks?

Leslie (lesliejean43) | 403 comments I have loved lots of Oprah's picks! Don't know if these are my top 5 but I loved She's Come Undone (Wally Lamb); Songs in Ordinary Time (Mary McGarry Morris), The Virtuous Woman (Kaye Gibbons) - but what I really liked about that is that it led me to reading another book by Gibbons, Ellen Foster, which I really liked better! I also read Vinegar Hill (A. Manette Ansay) which was well written but depressing; I also read The Deep End of the Ocean. I can't remember the author offhand, but think her initials were JM. I know I've read more than that, but nothing's coming to mind at the moment...

Leslie (lesliejean43) | 403 comments I must have forgotten to post what I wrote previously!
She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb; Songs in Ordinary Time by Mary McGarry Morris; Vinegar Hill by A. Manette Ansay (well-written but depressing!); A Virtuous Woman by Kay Gibbons, which I liked a lot, but it led me to read another book by the same author called Ellen Foster, which I really liked better!
I had been trying to remember the name of the author of The Deep End of the Ocean, and could only be sure the initials were JM - her name did actually pop up in my mind too!
