Dave Williams | 6 comments I used Lulu for my first book, and I plan on releasing a series and am currently editing my sequel, but I wanted to try to find a better self-publishing site. Is it possible where there's one where I can order my OWN book without having to pay for it since I'm the author? And also, one that's free to publish. Thank you.

Cendrine Marrouat (cendrinemarrouat) | 15 comments No, that kind of platforms doesn't exist. You would have order a copy of your own book at print cost. Otherwise, you are talking about a traditional publishing company, which is a different thing.

If you want things for free, publish ebooks.

Victoria Liiv (victorialiiv) | 5 comments I think Amazon is great for self-publishing and you can order author copies at a very low cost. I would definitely recommend it :)

I agree with Victoria. Amazon is very supportive of Indie authors. Even if you don't promote your work when doing a KDP promotion, they will advertise for you and you will get results. Not a lot sometimes, but it's free.
