I read this months ago and loved it!

Turning the Darkness is an apocalyptic horror where a group a scientists accidentally open a portal to hell during an experiment gone wrong.


The writing is well executed with an imaginative plot and memorable characters. But despite the overall quality, it doesn't appear to have found a big following. Which is sad. I think anyone who enjoys epic style horror like The Stand or Swan Song will love it.
