A book a month sounds reasonable...."
Welcome, Alex :)
Me too! I went through the whole series like a crazy person. I Don't know if I'll be able to hold out and only read one a month.

I'll be joining in for this one too. First time read. I am not sure if I'll continue or not, but definitely in for book 1. I haven't seen the show either. Total newbie.

Argh! Don't say this, you're making me feel even worse! I've been in freak out mode for the past few days and all these BRs are stressing the hell out of me. All my fault, I know o_O And don't laugh because it *is* complicated:P
This BR is my #1 priority so I PROMISE PROMISE PROMISE PROMISE to do my best and tag along okay? Just for you. I'll even consider going without sleeping for a few days so I can make it.

You read mine, I read yours,
Sarah, no worries, seriously. Reading should never be a chore or cause stress. I was totally joking. Don't even think twice if you can't fit it in. Seriously. It should be fun and when it gets to be too much, that's not fun anymore, right? :D

I'm with you, Shelly. Reading and BRs shouldn't be stressful.
They're meant to be fun, so don't worry, Sarah. We can always force you to read it later :P

Dios nos ayude, esta chica está complemente loca (por cierto, aquí se dice estar como una cabra)! Dos idiomas! DOS IDIOMAS! DOS IDIOMAS! NOS VAN A HECHAR DE GR!
I'm worried it is going to be boring. The books are very long and I think they are very descriptive. I hate reading about every detail from what is in a house to clothes and what kind of trees are in the forest, etc. I hate that stuff. That is my biggest worry about Outlander. I'll fall asleep reading it. I know there are supposedly some controversial things in it, but I don't expect that to be an issue...

@Shelly, I know what you mean. I get bored too sometimes but I'm used to long books and I think the Outlander journey is quite eventful and Jamie is an amazing character. My biggest concern is actually the controversial scenes. Lets hope you like it as much as I did.

@Ellen: don't mind us, we just have very poor GR etiquette;o;
I'm as concerned as Shelly about this book being boring. And I'm pretty much terrified at the idea of reading romance.
What controversial things are you talking about guys?
