I don't know how to get followers."
Here's a secret to getting followers on Twitter. Find another user with your interests, and follow all of their followers. Usually about 50% of those people will follow you back.

I'll follow you Doug if you follow me. I still don't understand Twitter very well.

On a side note, twitter is good for schmoozing and interacting but it doesn't have much reflection on sales from my experience and research.

Honestly, I haven't done much with them. As I understand it, they're hashtag managers. You should already be able to do that with T..."
I know, I'm just wondering if anyone has had any Marketing luck with them, cos I read or heard somewhere that they can be useful for enlarging your platform.

I'm discovering that and have connected with some very interesting people.

I tweet about books, Roman things, posts about writing, self-publishing, amusing/quirky things, sometimes my reviews.
Not being anti-social but I don't automatically follow back - I like to talk to my Twitter friends in a meaningful way and I'm already finding 350 difficult to keep up with! But if you chat and are interesting, I will!

I tweet about history (especially French and Corsican), books and writing, posts on my writing blog and my blog about life in Southwest France, other people's books, interesting articles about any of the foregoing, the odd amusing thing.
I'd love to chat if your interests coincide with mine.

Good luck .

I have over 8300 followers, come on by I retweet

It's perfect! This way we don't have to think what to write - there's no more space!
Hows about #Authors4Readers?
