That 'guess' is not what I would call 'dumb'. It's more of an insult to your prowess as a knowledgeable film buff and an affront to the fine record you've established in this quizzo.

It's beneath all of us here to deign to notice it further, or dignify it with additional response. We'll say no more about it. Dick Powell! Sheesh

#102, British. This will probably be tough. Started out as a 1950s nightclub singer; and had merely a dozen --and very trifling--movie appearances. But she's a well-known face to Brits due to her TV career; (of which her peak was in the 1970s, playing a character's mom). She has a very tenebrous relationship to the film 'Doctor No'. I rarely give this direct a clue, so you know this one would be otherwise difficult to pin down!

This is someone you either know right off; or, you know him but are 'thrown' by my posting him and you somehow don't make the connection. Much to your later chagrin.

Yes'm. Often cast as icy Nazis. But in this case, he flees them. Rick sees to it he wins at the table.

I like how in classic movies all the actor names were so 'formal sounding'. Edward, Richard, David, Reginald...

This is probably wrong but she did play a nurse several times.

#105 - Lurene Tuttle

That's a decent guess but no.
#105 often played waitresses as well as nurses (that's a waitress cap). She resented being typecast as 'dumb' blondes; but she did wind up with a star on the Walk of Fame. Upwards of 100 films to her credit.

Joyce Compton. It's so interesting that Hollywood let secondary and comic characters retain their regional accents. She used hers to good effect in some 100 pictures.

Good one, Margaret. I think this a picture of #105 as a nurse in 'Christmas in Connecticut'. It's frequently shown during the holidays.
