Since Jill will be back tomorrow, perhaps it's a good idea for me not to make anymore guesses until she can join in.

Who are we left with that has not been answered yet?
Oy. Curzon was the man with the facial tic as well as everything else I mentioned.
Ken Curtis would have been easy points for either of you sluggers. I had no idea he went into TV acting. Figured him for just another one of those endlessly crooning Welsh tenors in 'Rio Grande'.
Knowing Esther Dale, now that is a feat.
Currently only ONE challenge still extant. #116 I believe.

How about D'arcy Corrigan, the slack-jawed yokel (lead villager) from 'Bride of Frankenstein', Jill? Would you have pegged him?

It's bizarrely remiss of you both. He's hidden right in plain sight. Look at those eyebrows. Plus the 1965 Oscars. The film in question was nominated for five; won three. He is listed fifth in the cast.
Not sure what else I can say without making it a freebie/handout.
Alright: he's been in at least one Oliver Reed movie.
I'm going to review the weekend's guesses right now, to make sure I have not missed any posts.

Is there a typo there? A misspelling? Bad internet connection?

Bravo.
Yes! Roland Curram it is! Winning answer!
He is Oscar designee, Julie Christie's only good-guy lover in 1965's 'Darling'.
You were so close all along! I don't know who Roland Occam is.

All challenges satisfied for now. New puzzlers tomorrow or so.
(What a day! What a game! What a race! What a fight!)

Hope you are feeling better, Betsy.

Can I ask a question about him? Did he play in British or American films?
Meanwhile, #122 --the be-spectacled gent above -- has a very long and illustrious filmography in decades of beloved Hollywood productions.
Aye, George Lazenby hails from the opposite side of the globe. I'm surprised no one has ventured to guess one of my favorite actors who bears close resemblance --Fritz Weaver. Ole Fritz might have even have been Canadian, I frankly don't recall.
I definitely did not know any other Jack Warner besides the famed studio moghul. Learnt sumptin' new!

#121 looks very familiar. I'm sure I've seen him before.

#122 looks like he might be playing a hotel front desk man based on the background but that could be in any film.
Clues: #121, the Canadian gentleman had his heyday in the '70s and can boast of appearances in not just one but two pioneering, groundbreaking horror films.
#122 is pictured as a hotel clerk but it's just one of his many, many roles. I don't know why but he seems to have been favored by directors and producers when they cast many 'heart-warming' type of films. Think: adaptations of American classic fiction novels.

the scene with the bespectacled hotel clerk, is from a Warren William scene, in a movie from 1936
Yes! Nifty win on that challenge. Whew. I was expecting it to last a while.
The pic above is from 'Satan Met a Lady'. But he's also in 'Adventures of Tom Sawyer', 'Adventures of Huck Finn', 'Little Women' (I think?). Anyway, all that kind of movie.
200 titles! Amazing filmography.
Dab score from the Jillster.

I think Betsy will knock off #124 pretty quickly but I think she is also stumped on Canada. No more clues on him...........I want to wait before you add anymore information. I'm determined to guess him with what you already shared. Unless Betsy wants a little more info.
I still don't understand the fog about dates. Unless there was something in my original statement which was too 'coy' and misleading.
Did I say something vague like, 'it got a lot of attention at Oscar-time'? Okay that's bad wording on my part --I apologize--but please don't infer that I'm describing a movie which was released in theaters in March following the year of its official release year.
As a general rule, if I mention the Oscars I'm almost guaranteed to be referring to the ceremony and the awards night honoring films of the previous year. If I'm talking about Springtime I'll just use common words like 'Spring' or 'April', etc.
I think there was one time in this quiz when I deliberately mislead with a clue; just for chuckles. But I haven't done it since. It's too much effort, and its also lowly. I might not be forthcoming with a clue. but I won't use ever use 'tricky' or 'duplicitous' language.
